Get Ready - South America, is Next on the Global Tour!
The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square are traveling to South America in 2025 continuing their “Songs of Hope” world tour.

Lima, Peru is the fourth stop on the world tour, and Buenos Aires, Argentina will be the fifth — and both coincide with the 100th anniversary of the formal organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South America. In Lima, the concert will be livestreamed to audiences in Bolivia, Columbia, Ecuador, and Peru. In Buenos Aires, the concert will be livestreamed to audiences in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

This will be a continuation of the Choir’s current world tour following visits to Mexico, the Philippines, and the Southeastern United States. Information on venues, tickets, and guest artists will be announced at a later date.

World Tour Information and History

Beginning in 2023, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square announced a world tour entitled, “Hope.” Over the next four years, the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square will conduct this world tour with stops around the globe and a message of hope.

As part of this world tour, the Choir will travel more frequently but for a shorter amount of time. This is a new pattern for the Choir, which historically has traveled every two years. The goal is for the Choir to be more visible globally and to reach as many people as possible with its music.

Choir president Michael O. Leavitt said: “Our goal is to magnify the Choir’s impact throughout the world by helping people feel God’s love for His children. Our performances will be free. Many will be live streamed so local congregations in the regions we visit can invite their friends and communities to participate.”
