Daily Organ Recitals

The daily organ recitals, a century-long tradition, are open to the public. Thirty-minute organ recitals are given each day by Tabernacle and Temple Square organists and guest organists.

Organ recitals occur at 12:00 p.m. in the Tabernacle, Monday through Saturday each week and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Due to construction and maintenance work on the Tabernacle organ, the daily organ recitals will move over to the Conference Center starting next Monday, May 6th. They will be there through September 1st.

Please make note of the following three exceptions to the default organ recital schedule in the coming weeks:

  1. There will NOT be an organ recital on Sunday, August 4, due to the special event that evening in the Conference Center;
  2. The 2:00 p.m. recital on Sunday, August 18 will take place in the Tabernacle rather than the Conference Center.
  3. A special 2:00 p.m. recital will be added on Wednesday, August 21 in the Conference Center. (The latter two events are part of the official activities for the national convention of the American Institute of Organ Builders being held in Salt Lake City from August 17 through August 22.)
